Privacy
What we record, what we don’t.
Short and concrete — written to be read, not to dodge.
Marketing site (parts.fm)
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It records the page you viewed, the country and city Cloudflare infers from your IP (the IP itself is not stored), the device type, and the referring site. There are no cookies, no cross-site tracking, and no individual profile. Data is aggregated and anonymous.
That's all we track on the marketing pages. No Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, no Hotjar, no session recording.
The app (app.parts.fm)
Same Cloudflare Web Analytics baseline. Additionally — because the app saves your songs, takes and preferences — we record an in-app event log of meaningful actions (spoke entered, coach asked, take recorded) so the product team can tell whether features land. The log lives in your browser; a copy is sent to our server for aggregate analysis.
If you create an account, we store your email (Supabase) and the songs you've explicitly saved. Songs are private to you unless you publish a share link.
How to opt out
- Stop in-app event logging on this browser: visit /opt-out.
- Block Cloudflare Web Analytics: any standard ad-blocker (uBlock Origin, AdGuard) blocks
static.cloudflareinsights.comby default. We're fine with it — the count just goes down by one. - Delete your account: log in, go to Settings → Delete account. Songs, takes and event log are removed from our server within 30 days.
Legal basis (UK / EU GDPR)
We rely on legitimate interest for the analytics described above, which we believe meets the minimal-impact bar set by the ICO and EDPB. Cloudflare Web Analytics is cookieless and IP-only-at-edge. If you disagree with our assessment, the opt-out above is one click away.
